♨️ New in public preview: Microsoft Security Dashboard for AI 🛡️
AI is showing up everywhere – copilots, agents, custom apps, and third-party tools. This new dashboard gives security leaders a unified view to answer three practical questions:
✅ Which AI assets exist in our environment?
✅ What’s their current security posture?
✅ Where must we take action? (Microsoft Learn)
What I like is the left-to-right visibility across Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview, with Security Copilot suggested prompts to quickly drill into risk insights.
🖼️ I have created this new infographic as a quick reference for security leaders and governance teams.
📌 Inside the dashboard (3 pages):
▪️ Overview – summary cards (AI inventory, misconfigurations and attack paths, agents with sensitive interactions) plus recommendations you can delegate and notify via Outlook or Teams.
▪️ AI Inventory – discover and filter AI agents, AI models, MCP servers, and other AI apps (covers Microsoft AI solutions and third-party AI models, applications, and agents).
▪️ AI Risk – consolidated risk view across identity and access, data security, cloud security, misconfigurations and attack paths, and agents with sensitive interactions with links to remediate in Purview or Defender.
✅ A few details to note:
▪️ No special licensing beyond the underlying Microsoft Security products.
▪️ Uses signals from Microsoft Security and partner products, and guides you if a required service is missing.
▪️ Role-based access is scoped by page and data type (by default, Global Admin sees all).
