Microsoft stands out as the only cloud provider offering a unified solution to manage your organization’s security posture (CSPM) and protect workloads (CWP) across various clouds and on-premises environments. A key development in this arena is the integration of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) support in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, following our successful AWS support launch in November. This integration brings native CSPM and CWP capabilities to GCP without relying on Google’s first-party tools, representing the final piece in a comprehensive cloud security puzzle. These advancements are detailed in my recent “What’s New in MS Security” webinar, where I provided insights and demos. This feature enables organizations to centrally manage security across multiple cloud environments, ensuring a more streamlined and effective security strategy. Stay tuned for upcoming monthly webinars and dive into the linked article to understand how Microsoft is shaping the future of multi-cloud security.
